Welcome to the home page of the Baha'is of Corona, California. We are members of the Baha'i Faith, which is a world religion with 5 million members worldwide, 100,000 in the U.S., and about 50 members in Corona. The key principle of the Baha'i Faith is unity of all things -- unity of God, the unity of religion and of the major prophets and manifestations of God over the centuries, and the fundamental oneness of all people, independent of race, religion, economic status, etc.

About the Corona Baha'is

The Corona Baha'i Community consists of about 50 people. We work hard to promote all forms of unity in the Corona community, by activities like organizing educational talks, funding essay contests, organizing teacher appreciation nights, providing free games and services to kids at various Corona events, taking an active role in the Corona/Norco Interfaith Association, and supporting other groups' unity-building efforts.

What Baha'is Believe

The Baha'i Faith teaches the oneness of God, the oneness of religion, the onenness of humanity, that religion must be in accord with science and reason, the independent investigation of truth, the equality between men and women, the abolition of all forms of prejudice, universal peace, universal education, a universal auxilliary language, a spiritual solution to economic problems, and the need for an international tribunal.

Some other teachings: we are created as noble and spiritual beings, the family is the foundation of human society, marriage is a means for spiritual development of both partners, consultation is a dynamic process for finding truth and for solving conflicts and problems, living a moral life has a direct influence on our spiritual happiness and development, and the soul continues after death.
